On the 22nd, Netflix officially announced the production of its new series The Glory and its cast. With Song Hye Kyo in the center, the cast includes Lee Do Hyun, Lim Ji Yeon, Yeom Hye Ran, Park Sung Hoon, and more.

The Glory tells the story of a woman who was shattered into pieces due to the violence she endured as a child. Because of it, she spends her whole life meticulously plotting her revenge. The series follows the many characters that got dragged into the vortex of her revenge.

Song Hye Kyo plays Moon Dong Eun, a victim of terrible school violence. Risking her life, she prepares revenge against all the perpetrators and bystanders. The actress will show a shocking transformation into a woman with only malice and hatred left.

Lee Do Hyun steps into the role of Joo Yeo Jung, who hides his complicated thoughts behind a smile. Joining him in the cast is Lim Ji Yeon as Park Yeon Jin. Park Yeon Jin has lived a perfect life, but she was actually the villain of the piece in Dong Eun’s school bullying. When her past comes to haunt her, her life’s turned upside down.

Yeom Hye Ran plays Kang Hyun Nam, another victim of violence. To get away from never-stopping domestic violence, she works with Dong Eun. Additionally, Park Sung Hoon turns into Jeon Jae Joon, another person who destroyed Dong Eun’s life with Yeon Jin. He’s the biggest snob one can imagine with money.

The Glory comes from writer Kim Eun Sook, who penned Secret Garden, The Heirs, Descendants of the Sun, and Goblin. This time, however, she’s returning with a vengeful story instead of a sweet romance. Happiness and Stranger director Ahn Gil Ho will helm the production.
