TWICE’s Nayeon debuted at No. 7 on Billboard 200, achieving the highest record ever for a K-pop solo artist.

According to Billboard, Nayeon’s first mini-album IM NAYEON landed at seventh place on the Billboard 200 chart released on July 9th. With this, Nayeon made new history by becoming the first K-pop solo artist to put her name on the top 10 of the chart.

With her solo debut, Nayeon landed within the top 10 on Billboard’s main chart, confirming her global popularity. However, earlier in June 2020, TWICE first entered the chart with MORE & MORE. Since then, they’ve put Eyes wide open (72nd), Taste of Love (6th), and Formula of Love: O+T=<3 (3rd), continuing its record-breaking streak.

Additionally, IM NAYEON earned a total of 57,000 equivalent album units during the week ending on June 30th, according to Luminate (formerly MRC Data). IM NAYEON became the best-selling album of the week in the U.S., debuting at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart dated July 9th. Moreover, the smash also ranked on the Billboard World Album Chart.

Meanwhile, the music video for “POP!” garnered 16.5 million views on YouTube within 24 hours of its release. As of the 4th, the video surpassed 56.4 million views.
