Will TVXQ’s Yunho return to the small screen after five years?

According to Sports Chosun, Yunho was cast to play the lead role in Race, the new drama by Hyena writer Kim Ruri. Race is about our “race” in this digital era. SM Entertainment responded, “Yunho received an offer and is now positively reviewing it.”

Race is the office romance drama about Park Yoon Jo, whose lack of an academic background won’t deter her dedication to strive forward, and Ryu Jae Min, an intelligent, warm-hearted, and just man who has zero hopes for his company.

If Yunho joins the show, he’ll play Seo Dong Hoon, the CEO of the PR agency Earth Communication. Born and raised in the States, Seo Dong Hoon majored in design at New York Art School. After doing an MBA, he came to Korea to start his career in PR, eventually becoming the CEO. He’s a PR man who has a firm understanding of the ever-changing PR world, prioritizes free expressions from his experience in the States, and knows how to make compromises.

In particular, he’ll be in a love triangle with Park Yoon Jo (played by Lee Yeon Hee) and Ryu Jae Min (played by Hong Jong Hyun).

Meanwhile, the last drama Yunho appeared in was the 2017 drama Meloholic. Attention focuses on the singer’s possible return to the small screen after five years.
