In the latest episode of You Quiz on the Block, CL recalled the moment she shed her tears in front of 2NE1 members at their reunion.
After being six years apart, the star brought all four 2NE1 members together at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 16th. Recalling their way back home after the performance, she said, “Nobody talked anything on our way back. Because we all knew how valuable it was to perform together, I think we all tried to appreciate such an experience while looking out the window.” She added, “After really feeling the moment, we had burgers and instant noodles and danced the night away to our music.”
The singer also confessed that it was the first time she cried in front of 2NE1 members. She said, “Dara and Bom left the next day. I had never cried in front of them. However, but I could not hold my tears that day. I cried so much while looking at Bom that day. We literally had a ‘tearful farewell’ before we all headed to the airport.”
Sandara Park also remembered CL shedding her tears when saying goodbye to her. In a brief interview during the broadcast, she commented, “CL was crying buckets in her car. She would not stop crying as I was comforting her, holding her hands.”
Meanwhile, when MC Yoo Jae Suk asked if they will be reuniting in the future, CL answered with a smile, saying, “That is a secret.”
