Netflix’s new series Mask Girl (literal title) confirmed the casting of Go Hyun Jung and Nana for the role of Kim Mo Mi.

Joining the cast of Mask Girl – Go Hyun Jung, Ahn Jae Hong, and Yeom Hye Ran – is Nana. Mask Girl follows the dynamic life of Kim Mo Mi, an ordinary office worker with an inferiority complex over her looks. She hosts night shows online after covering her face with a mask and ends up getting caught up in unexpected incidents.

Earlier, Netflix has cast Go Hyun Jung as Kim Mo Mi, Ahn Jae Hong as Joo Oh Nam, who has a crush on Kim Mo Mi, and Yeom Hye Ran as Kim Kyung Ja, Joo Oh Nam’s mother.

Go Hyun Jung and Nana will play Kim Mo Mi in chronological order. Nana plays Kim Mo Mi after she gets new looks after getting entangled in an unexpected incident, while Go Hyun Jung plays the older Kim Mo Mi, who is ready to achieve her goal by any means. Kim Mo Mi in an early part of the show who hides her face during her online shows will be played by a rookie actress. The tumultuous life of Kim Mo Mi will be portrayed by three different actresses, filing the show with unpredictable plot and tension.

Meanwhile, Mask Girl, based on the popular webtoon of the same name, is the first TV series by director Kim Yong Hoon, who won the Special Jury Award at the 49th International Film Festival Rotterdam with Beasts Clawing at Straws.
