Takashi Miike’s ‘Connect’ Starring Jung Hae In and Go Kyung Pyo Confirm Release on Disney Plus

Connect, the new TV series directed by Takashi Miike, has finished filming. And according to various reports, it has confirmed its release on Disney Plus.

On the 27th, YTN star reported that Connect completed the additional filming for the main cast last month. Based on the webtoon of the same name, Connect depicts the mysterious story of a man who has been deprived of a part of his body by organ hunters and becomes “connected” with a person who has received an organ transplant.

The show had made headlines from early on when award-winning director Takashi Miike was tabbed to helm the production. Moreover, its stellar cast – Jung Hae In, Go Kyung Pyo, and Kim Hye Joon – is another thing to note.

According to industry insiders, Disney Plus is currently coordinating the release date of the work in the first half of next year.
