The first episode of Disney+’s Soundtrack#1 hooked viewers with its mesmerizing love story between two 20-year friends – Han Sun Woo (played by Park Hyung Sik) and Lee Eun Soo (Han So Hee).

Han Sun Woo, a talented rookie photographer pursuing his career in the U.S., decides to spend two weeks in his home country to prepare for a photo exhibition. In the meantime, Lee Eun Soo was seen tearing her hair out trying to come up with the lyrics that could best portray the emotions of unrequited love.

Lee Eun Soo, who never had a serious crush on someone, receives a two-week deadline from the composer she greatly admires. So to vent out her frustration, she meets up with her longtime friend Han Sun Woo and grabs a drink together. While spending the evening with him, she learns that he has had a crush on someone for years and that it’s still an ongoing thing. Thinking that it might help her with writing the lyrics, she suggests that he should stay with her for the next two weeks before he heads back to the U.S.

Han Sun Woo gets startled by Lee Sun Woo’s proposal since his longtime secret crush has always been her. Plus, it turns out that he had once tried to confess his feelings to her, years ago, but he never managed to do so. Despite his desperate attempt to brush aside his feelings for her, her drunken words shakes him as she says, “You should be honest with yourself. Follow your heart and do what makes you happy.” So, on the next morning, he takes a bold move and rings her bell in front of her doorstep.

That’s how Han Sun Woo and Lee Eun Soo started living together for two weeks. Although they have very different personalities with different interests, they spend fun and quality time together. And on the first night together, they get very drunk until Eun Soo passes out on the floor. Lying side by side with her, he goes, “You are driving me crazy.” Just right then, she opens her eyes, and the episode ends with them making awkward eye contact.
