Episode 1 of KBS 2TV’s new Monday-Tuesday drama Crazy Love recorded average viewership ratings of 3.4 percent, which is lower than the 5.9 percent recorded by the final episode of Moonshine.
The episode started by showing Lee Shin Ah (Krystal Jung) as the secretary of Noh Go Jin (Kim Jae Wook), the CEO of the education company GOTOP. Despite the CEO’s notorious reputation as the boss who makes his secretary quit within three months, she has been working for him for over a year to achieve her dreams as an instructor.
Noh Go Jin is a narcissistic and money-loving entrepreneur who has put his company at the top in the education industry without having a college diploma. He is worshipped by students as the nation’s best instructor but disliked by his staff members because of his prickly and sensitive personality. One day, Lee Shin Ah finds out about her brain tumor and that she is dying from a terminal illness. She gets outraged by the fact that she doesn’t have much time left despite all her hard work that put her through hair loss and other chronic conditions.
Shin Ah then directs her anger at her boss and starts to take her revenge on him by visiting him with something to knock him out on his vacation site. However, since the CEO has received numerous death threats before, viewers are wondering if she will be the one who will make the death threat come true.
Catch the next episode of Crazy Love on KBS on March 14th.
