Apink’s Jeong Eun Ji will appear in the new OCN drama Blind (literal title).

According to IST Entertainment, Jeong Eun Ji was cast to play Jo Eun Gi in the upcoming series Blind.

Blind tells the story of those who became victims and those who became perpetrators by closing their eyes on the uncomfortable truth. This mystery thriller is the first drama Fantagio is producing. Shin Yong Hwi, director of Faith, Bel Ami, and Voice 4, helms the production, while Sharp and Andante writer Kwon Ki Kyung pens the scripts.

Jeong Eun Ji takes on the role of Jo Eun Gi, a social worker. Jo Eun Gi is someone who wants to embrace one more child who has gone through hell. One thing that stands out about her is her philosophic and bold attitude towards life, not common in her age.

Earlier, Ok Taec Yeon and Ha Seok Jin have officially joined the production.

Recently, Jeong Eun Ji became a hot topic with her bubbly and chic charm shown in TVING original series Work Later, Drink Now. This time, she’ll make a return to the small screen with a thriller drama, heralding a radical transformation.

Meanwhile, Blind is slated to premiere in the latter half of this year.
