All of Us Are Dead is following the footsteps of Train to Busan and Kingdom in popularizing K-zombie works. It follows students trapped in their high school that has become ground zero for a zombie virus outbreak. In a recent interview with NBC, All of Us Are Dead actors remarked, “The series is all about the identity crisis that Generation Z is currently going through.” So, without further ado, let’s take a look at some of the show’s most memorable characters and actors.

In the most extreme situations, Nam On Jo shows the survival skills that she learned from her firefighter father. She joins hands with her friends and fights off the deadly zombies instead of running away from the crisis. She is has a bubbly and positive mindset, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have any worries of her own. Park Ji Hoo, who plays the ordinary high schooler with turbulent emotions in the series, has first garnered public attention as the main character in House of Hummingbird. She starred in the movie as Eun Hee, an ordinary middle school student with her own pain and struggles and subtly churned the audience’s hearts. Although she has won several awards at various events, Park Ji Hoo has become an actress who now stands in the public’s eyes thanks to her role in All of Us Are Dead. For her next work, Park Ji Hoo will be collaborating with Kim Go Eun and Nam Ji Hyun in tvN’s Little Women.

Yoon Chan Young (Lee Cheong San)

Lee Cheong San has a crush on his childhood friend of twelve years, On Jo. He struggles to save her and his friends from danger as he remains calm even in moments of crisis. Surprisingly, the actor who played Cheong San, who showed a remarkable library chase scene, turned out to be a former child actor named Yoon Chan Young. Chan Young made his acting debut in 2013 and received positive reviews for his role in MBC’s Mama, playing the son of a terminally ill single mother. He then starred in SBS’Six Flying Dragons and MBC’s Blow Breeze as young Byun Yo Han and young Son Ho Jun. On top of his superb emotional acting, Yoon Chan Young has shown his potential as an action actor with his performance in All of Us Are Dead.

Choi Yi Hyun (Choi Nam Ra)

Choi Nam Ra is the class president who excels at her academics. She assesses any given situation with a calm sense of objectivity and insightful options. As the show progressed, Nam Ra’s romance with Su Hyeok (Lomon) received explosive responses, and her efforts to protect her friends even after turning into a semi zombie left a deep impression on the viewers. Choi Yi Hyun, who played the popular character Nam Ra in All of Us Are Dead, made her acting debut in 2017 with the web dama named Sweet Revenge. Surprisingly, Solomon also took part in the same series with her. She then starred in tvN’s Hospital Playlist as medical student Yoon Bok. And just before the release of All of Us Are Dead, she played a cheerful high school kid in KBS’School 2021, a character very different from her latest work.

Lomon (Lee Su Hyeok)

On Jo’s crush Lee Su Hyeok used to be a bully, but later becomes a strong advocate of his friends as they face the crisis. According to the description that says “a good-looking kid who is good at sports,” he used his own interpretation to create a unique character narrative. On top of that, Solomon’s devoted love story and fiery action scenes added to the show’s vitality. It’s also surprising that this tall and dazzling young actor is not a newcomer to the acting industry. He made his acting debut in 2016 in the movie Horror Stories 3 and has starred in several works since then. In particular, his psychopath role in MBC’s Bleak Night has left a shocking and lasting impact on the viewers.

Lee Yoo Mi (Lee Na Yeon)

Lee Yoo Mi caught the eyes of the public with her role in Squid Game, who willingly faced her death to save another contestant named Sae Byeok (Jung Hyo Yeon). However, in All of Us Are Dead, she transformed into an annoying villain who taunts the protagonists at every opportunity. Aside from the two series, the actress has participated in many other works that center around teenagers and their survival in harsh reality. For instance, she starred in Park Hwa Young as runaway adolescent Se Jin and played a pregnant teen in Young Adult Matters. Many are looking forward to seeing what the future holds for her and what kind of faces of youths she will present to us.

Yoo In Soo (Yoon Gwi Nam)

Yoon Gwi Nam is more dangerous and deadly than zombies. He casually commits various evil crimes and never gives up on pursuing Lee Cheong San to get his revenge. Yoo In Soo, who played the role of Yoon Gwi Nam, made his acting debut in 2017 with JTBC’s Strong Woman Do Bong Soon but didn’t get a chance to stand in the spotlight. However, he reached a milestone in his acting career by playing this role in All of Us Are Dead, I look forward to seeing him in the future in many different works. Yoo In Soo has recently finished filming his next work JTBC’s Fly High Butterfly.

Im Jae Hyuk (Yang Dae Su)
