Na In Woo may star in a Korean remake of the popular Japanese series, Sleepeeer Hit!

According to Newsen on December 29th, Cube Entertainment announced, “Na In Woo received an offer to take the male lead in Today’s Webtoon.”

Today’s Webtoon is about a former judo athlete who joins the webtoon editorial department as a new employee and struggles to become a true webtoon editor. The show will air on SBS.

The drama is a Korean remake of the hit Japanese drama Sleepeeer Hit!, which won rave reviews from viewers for its strong plot and characters. Today’s Webtoon will add factors unique to Korea by showing how competitive the web comics field is in South Korea.

Should Na In Woo accept the role, he will be starring as the male lead who Sakaguchi Kentaro played in the original drama. He is a sales team employee who reflects on himself while watching the heroine do her best with sincerity. Eventually, they become supportive friends while focusing on their respective fields.

Kim Se Jeong has been offered to play On Ma Eum, a rookie contract employee in the webtoon editorial department. She is reportedly reviewing her offer.
