TXT Receives Their First RIAJ Platinum Certification in Japan with EP ‘Chaotic Wonderland’

The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) has announced that TXT’s first Japanese EP “Chaotic Wonderland” earned the RIAJ platinum certification.

On the 10th, the RIAJ stated that the album released last October had received an official platinum certification for over 300,000 units shipped in Japan. �According to its requirements, albums are certified platinum at 250,000 units shipped. Albums are certified platinum at 250,000 units shipped according to the RIAJ’s certification requirements. The EP is TXT’s first album to go platinum in Japan.

In addition, the group has continued their impressive streak on Japanese Oricon charts. TXT has managed to top the weekly album chart of Oricon with five albums in a row. Now, the act has become the second foreign artist, after BTS, to have five consecutive albums at the top of the chart.
