Will Ahn Hyo Seop and Jeon Yeo Been come together for the Korean remake of the Taiwanese drama Someday or One Day?
According to media outlets, Ahn Hyo Seop and Jeon Yeo Been received an offer to take the lead in the Korean version of Someday or One Day. Someday or One Day tells the story of a woman who wakes up in the past while grieving the loss of her boyfriend. And there, she meets a man who looks just like his dead boyfriend.
If Ahn Hyo Seop and Jeon Yeo Been join the project, they will each play Wang Quan Sheng/Li ZiWei (played by Greg Hsu) and Huang Yu Hsuan/Chen Yun Ru (played by Alice Ko). In fact, Ahn Hyo Seop has been viewers’ first choice for the male lead, even before the remake of Someday or One Day was confirmed. Since the news of the remake and Ahn Hyo Seop and Jeon Yeo Been’s casting had hit the wire, the responses have been explosive.
Meanwhile, Someday or One Day recorded the highest viewer ratings among programs aired in 8 years when it aired in November 2019. In Taiwan and throughout Asia, the series was dubbed the epitome of youth drama, receiving great love. The Korean remake will most likely be released on Disney Plus.
