BTS Tops Nine Year-End Charts of Billboard

Yesterday, Billboard revealed its 2021 year-end rankings on its official homepage. Dua Lipa’s “Levitating” came in at No. 1 on the 2021 year-end Billboard 200 Global Songs chart, while Olivia Rodrigo topped the Global 200 Artist chart. Meanwhile, BTS’ dynamite dominated both the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Songs and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Artist rankings.

Billboard commented, “BTS Dominates Internationally: The seven-piece South Korean group is the year’s top artist, and has the year’s top song, on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. recaps. “Dynamite” finishes at No. 1 on the year-end Global Excl. U.S. chart while their English language-follow-up, “Butter,” is No. 5.”

According to Billboard’s official social media, BTS topped nine of its charts, including Overall Duo/Group, HOT 100 Duo/Group, Billboard 200 Duo/Group, Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Artist, Billboard Global Excl. Song, Digital Song Sales Artist, Digital Song Sales Song, World Albums Artist, and World Album.

Fans congratulated BTS, commenting “They’re amazing,” “First in nine categories,” and “As expected from world stars.”
