JTBC’s upcoming drama Snowdrop has released a behind-the-scenes look at the script reading.
Scheduled to premiere on December 18th, Snowdrop is set in 1987 Seoul and tells the passionate love story of college students Su Ho (Jung Hae In) and Young Ro (Jisoo). Su Ho, a student at a prestigious school, suddenly appears in a women’s college dorm covered in blood. Young Ro hides him while treating his wounds despite facing danger under constant surveillance.
Regarding Im Su Ho, a Korean American who attends a prestigious university, Jung Hae In shared, “He’s a character who gets caught up in a whirlpool of events as the story progresses.” He continued, “I was able to enjoy the script reading all thanks to the welcoming director, writer, and veteran actors.”
Jisoo plays Eun Young Ro, an English literature major. She introduced her role by saying, “I play the role of Young Ro, who gets swept into events with Su Ho. Please stay tuned for what they will be happening in the upcoming series.” She continued, “It was my first table read and I loved how everyone encouraged and supported me.”
Snowdrop will be exclusively available on Disney Plus following its November launch on JTBC.
