BTS’s Jin will sing the OST for tvN’s 15th-anniversary special project Jirisan.
Since the beginning of this year, Jirisan has been one of the most anticipated dramas to air in the second half of this year. It’s written by Kingdom writer Kim Eun Hee and directed by Descendants of the Sun and Goblin director Lee Eung Bok. Moreover, the stellar cast includes A-list stars Jun Ji Hyun, Ju Ji Hoon, Sung Dong Il, and more.
And today, this jaw-dropping project added BTS’s Jin to the OST singer lineup. BTS is continuing its dazzling career, holding the title of the most weeks at No. 1 by any song in 2021 with “Butter.” Especially, the act’s eldest member Jin gave a lot of consolation to fans with his sincere voice in his songs “Awake,” “Epiphany,” and “Moon.”
Jirisan‘s production company ASTORY and OST production company MOST CONTENTS shared, “The OST sung by Jin will be the drama’s main theme song. The song will be unveiled midway through the show, and we will announce the release date separately.”
Meanwhile, set against the backdrop of towering views of Mount Jiri, Jirisan revolves around veteran ranger Seo Yi Gang and rookie ranger Kang Hyun Jo. Together, they will dig into the mystery surrounding the mountain’s many visitors. The series will premiere on October 23rd at 9 PM KST.
