BTS’ “Butter” rebounded to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.

On September 7th (local time), Billboard announced that BTS’ “Butter” returned to top on its famous Hot 100 chart.

Billboard stated, “BTS’ “Butter” resurges to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart for a 10th total week at the summit. “Butter” becomes the 40th single in the Hot 100’s 63-year history to spend ten or more weeks at No. 1. It’s the first since Roddy Ricch’s “The Box” logged 11 weeks on top in January-March 2020.”

According to Billboard, the track topped Billboard’s 2021 Songs of the Summer chart and Digital Song Sales chart as well as the Hot 100 chart.

BTS’ “Butter” and “Permission to Dance” continue to lead many Billboard charts with record-breaking success. In particular, BTS earned the title of “No.1 Korean act with most weeks on Billboard’s chart with the track, ‘Butter’” and became the first singer in Billboard history to make a hotshot debut before spending seven weeks on the chart. Butter ruled the charts for seven weeks before BTS’s latest Permission To Dance replaced it.
