According to YG Entertainment on August 4th, BLACKPINK’s THE ALBUM, released in Japan on the 3rd, topped the Oricon’s Daily Album Chart and Apple Music’s Top Album Chart in Japan.

Their singles smashed chart records as well. The pre-released singles “How You Like That” and “Lovesick Girls” have snagged major music charts in Japan, including Line Music, AWA, and iTunes.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK will celebrate their fifth anniversary on August 8th. BLACKPINK THE MOVIE, a film produced to mark their 5th year, will be released on the 4th in over 100 countries.
