DAY6’s Wonpil, IZ*ONE’s Kang Hyewon & CIX’s Hyunsuk to Star in the Season 3 of ‘Best Mistake’

DAY6’s Wonpil, IZ*ONE’s Kang Hyewon, and CIX’s Hyunsuk will star in a web series.

According to media outlets, Wonpil, Kang Hyewon, and Hyunsuk will take the lead roles in the new season of the Best Mistake series. First aired in 2019, Best Mistake is a teen romance drama about a model student who bumps into a group of “delinquents.”

First, Wonpil will make his acting debut as Do Ye Seok, a gorgeous returning student who’s smart and good-hearted. He may seem tough on the outside, but deep down, he’s actually full of inner scars. After returning to school, he gets entangled with Kim Yeon Doo, the heroine of the series.

Kang Hyewon will also be making a debut as an actress with the series. She’ll play Jin Sae Hee, the goddess of Hwayang University that everyone is jealous of. She used to date Do Ye Seok, but she broke up with him when she faced financial issues. Later, she joins hands with Ji Hyun Ho to win Do Ye Seok back.

Kim Dae Young, played by Hyunsuk, is a business major student. He’s the best friend of Do Ye Seok, and they’ve chosen the same major and enlisted at the same time. He’s bright, social, and is waiting for his movie-like love. Hyunsuk will also be making his acting debut with the project.

In the new season, the characters have graduated from high school and enter college. These youths were once branded as delinquents due to people’s prejudices when all they did was to study just a little less. How will their romance grow as they become young adults? Season 3 of Best Mistake will be released in the latter half of this year.
