On Thursday, YG Entertainment unveiled the main trailer for BLACKPINK THE MOVIE.
Although the video only lasted for one minute and 13 seconds, it still conveyed the four members’ sincerity. In addition, the excitement of the Blackpink concert was vividly captured with the fans’ enthusiastic cheers.
Above all else, Blackpink’s dynamic performance in the stadium filled with pink color gave a sense of immersion beyond expectations. Throughout the clip, the four members expressed their true feelings through words like “put my heart and soul into it” and “thank you for always supporting me.”
As YG announced before, BLACKPINK THE MOVIE, produced to mark the 5th debut anniversary of the group, is a part of the “4+1 PROJECT.” The movie will look back on the journey of Blackpink, the global K-pop group that made new history.
The movie is a re-edited version of Blackpink’s performance in their “THE SHOW (2021)” and “IN YOUR AREA (2018)” concerts. In addition to that, special scenes such as members’ unreleased interviews will be included.
Since the news of BLACKPINK THE MOVIE has hit the wire, more than 100 countries showed keen interest. And that interest soared to the point where theaters scheduled to release the movie took the top spots of Google search terms for a week.
