Jun Ji Hyun‘s agency vehemently denied the divorce rumors that have swept the online communities.
On June 2nd, Culture Depot issued an official statement regarding the divorce rumors raised by the YouTube channel “Garo Sero Institute.” “We would like to clarify that none of what they said is true,” they wrote. “We will take strong legal action against those who spread false information online.”
Rumors of separation and divorce between Jun Ji Hyun and her husband, Choi Joon Hyuk, began when “Garo Sero Institute” mentioned it during their broadcast.
Kim Yong Ho, a former entertainment journalist, claimed that Jun does not want a divorce while her husband does. He even added that Choi left the house and Jun is considering immigrating to another country.
Meanwhile, Jun married Choi, the CEO of investment firm Alpha, in 2012. And she gave birth to two sons in 2016 and 2018.

We would like to provide our position on actress Jun Ji Hyun’s rumors of divorce raised by ‘Garo Sero Institute’ on June 2nd (yesterday).
We clarify that none of what they said is true.
Currently, false information is being spread indiscriminately online. And we have confirmed that intentional malicious rumors derived from the ‘Garo Sero Institute’ broadcast are being created and posted.
Accordingly, we are trying to get to the bottom of things, and we will take strong legal measures against the spread of false information through articles and comments.”
