On June 2nd, Yooborn Company confirmed that Shin was tapped to star in The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate. And now, she is reviewing the offer.
The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate is based on a popular web novel of the same name that attracted 24.4 million views. The story begins when a man is killed after being falsely accused of embezzlement by the family he served for over 10 years. But he wakes up again in the body of the youngest son of the family and begins his revenge.
Earlier, media outlets reported that Song Joong Ki and Lee Sung Min were also offered to take the lead in the series.
If Shin joins the production, she will be playing prosecutor Seo Min Young. Seo is an elite prosecutor from a prestigious family that has been in the legal circles for generations. She is the “grim reaper of Soonyang” who ferociously digs into the Soonyang’s heirs. To achieve the justice she believes in, she’s ready to manipulate the law and even do illegal things.
