Lee Hyun Wook has officially joined The Bride of Black (literal title).
On May 21st, Management Air confirmed the news of Lee starring in The Bride of Black. “Lee Hyung Wook has officially joined the project,” they shared.
The Bride of Black is the new Netflix original series that revolves around the high-class marriage bureau. Earlier, Kim Hee Sun was reported to have been offered to take the lead role.
Lee Hyun Wook made headlines when he played murder Yoo Ki Hyun in the 2019 OCN series Strangers from Hell. And earlier this year, he received favorable reviews for playing a three-dimensional character Lee Jae Shin in She Would Never Know. Currently, he’s starring in Mine.
Meanwhile, The Bride of Black will begin filming soon and will screen next year.
