IZ*ONE will be disbanding today, leaving behind many records and criticisms. As members return to their respective agencies, Sakura, Nako, and Hitomi left for Japan.

According to Starnews, Sakura, Nako, and Hitomi left Incheon International Airport for Japan today at 11 AM KST.

IZ*ONE was formed on August 31st, 2018, through Mnet’s Produce 48. The group officially debuted in Korea on October 29th, 2018, and debuted in Japan on February 6th, 2019. Since then, they have received great love in both countries as a top-tier K-pop girl group.

However, the vote manipulation controversy has always followed IZ*ONE. In the aftermath of the manipulation lawsuit, X1 (formed through PRODUCE X 101) disbanded, but IZ*ONE continued their promotions.

And today (April 29th), they will officially be wrapping up their two-and-a-half-year activities. From now on, members will return to their agencies and start a new chapter either as a member of their original group or solo singer.

Earlier this morning, Nako unveiled pictures of her and her fellow members, leaving the last gift as a member of IZ*ONE. She also left a short heartfelt message, “WIZ*ONE, I love you so much,” impressing her fans.

Meanwhile, WIZ*ONEs raised 3 billion KRW (about $2,710,260) for the “group re-launching project” to prevent disbandment.
