Inseong of SF9 is coming back with a musical show titled Red Book.

As the main vocal of the group and an active actor, Inseong will join the play.

He was recognized for his stable vocal techniques and acting skills through the musical The Days, which recently closed its curtains. He is becoming a rising star of musicals demonstrating his ticket-selling powers despite facing the COVID-19 times. Expectations of fans and staff are rising as he has been consecutively offered a role for Red Book.

The musical which Inseong has confirmed to appear in has its background on a backdrop of England’s Victorian Age. In this conservative era, a woman who wants to live as herself, Anna, encounters a man who only lives like a gentleman, Brown. The story unfolds as the two find the value of understanding and respect in each other.

Inseong plays Brown, an innocent, chaotic newcomer and lawyer from a wealthy middle-class family. He only learned how to love from the books. Brown is always full of pride and confidence in his identity as a gentleman. The character changes throughout the musical as he meets Anna due to his grandmother’s will.

In The Days, Inseong perfectly depicted the free-spirited character of Moo Young with his strong voice and stable acting skills. After demonstrating wonderful stage presence, viewers are now looking forward to his interpretation of Brown’s sloppy lawyer in Red Book.

The musical will be open in the Grand Theatre of the Art Center at Hongik University in June.
