The film with IU as a cast, Shades of the Heart, has confirmed its release date.
On the 10th, Shades of the Heart officially announced the release date to be the 31st of March and unveiled its main poster and trailer.
The film tells a relatable story about a lost heart where novelist Chang Seok (played by Yeon Woo Jin) meets someone by chance after returning to Seoul one early spring after seven years.
As a new film of Kim Jong Kwan, who also directed Persona, Worst Woman, The Table, and Josée, it was previously released in the Jeonju Cinema Project at the 20th Jeonju International Film Festival.
The story of novelist Chang Seok is expected to draw attention as he meets, breaks up, and completes the story with strangers within familiar spaces such as coffee shops, museums, cafes, and bars.
It is more anticipated as Kim Sang Ho, Lee Ji Eun (IU), Lee Joo Young and Yoon Hye Ri are to join along with Yeon Woo Jin.
