Pyo Ye Jin to Replace Naeun in the Upcoming Revenge Drama ‘Taxi Driver’

Pyo Ye Jin has confirmed her appearance in the SBS’s new drama Taxi Driver.

On March 10, the Taxi Driver production crew announced that they have cast Pyo Ye Jin for the role of Go Eun, which was originally played by April’s Naeun.

Based on the webtoon of the same title, Taxi Driver tells the story of a mysterious taxi service called “Rainbow Transportation” that takes revenge on behalf of victims who are unable to get justice from the law under the theme of “in a society where justice has vanished, give them a single call.”

Doctor Detective director Park Joon Woo helms the production, and Fabricated City writer Oh Sang Ho has penned the script.

Go Eun, now played by Pyo, is a highly skilled hacker for Rainbow Transportation. She lost her family to a criminal, so she carries out her revenge by becoming the eyes and ears of Kim Do Gi (Lee Je Hoon) by utilizes everything that works digitally, including security cameras, smartphones, and computers.

Meanwhile, Pyo made her face known with the 2017 drama Fight For My Way and became a new rising star with her role Kim Ji Ah in What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim.

SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama Taxi Driver will premiere on April 9 as a follow-up of The Penthouse 2.
