SHINee’s Onew, DAY6’s Wonpil, GOT7’s Youngjae, and Lovelyz’s Kei are to appear in the creative musical Midnight Sun.
It is a thrilling romantic musical about Hae Na, the girl who sings under the moonlight, meeting Ha Ram, a boy as dazzling as the midday sun. It is about the moment she sings the brightest song of her life. Starting as a Hong Kong film in 1993, it was remade into a Hollywood film following the Japanese novels, movies, and dramas. It was loved for a long time since and has also been performed as a musical in Korea back in 2010.
The refurbished version of Midnight Sun will premiere on May 1st. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic around the world, all rounds of the musical are to be streamed live online for global audiences.
SHINee’s Onew, DAY6’s Wonpil, and GOT7’s Youngjae play Ha Ram, the boy who is as dazzling as the sun. Lovelyz’s Kei will be playing Han Na, the girl who shines like the starlight of the night. The four are to display their refreshing visuals and amazing singing skills each in their roles.
Midnight Sun will be performed at Kwanglim Art Center in Seoul from May 1st to July 25th.
