VeriVery has started a new chapter of the ‘Series O.’
On the 2nd, the group hosted an online showcase and talked about the second single SERIES ‘O’ ROUND 1 : HALL. They released the title track “Get Away” at 6 p.m. KST onto various music streaming platforms and will start their promo activities for the song.
This is VeriVery’s comeback in about five months since last October. Members explained their time during this period as they prepared for the comeback. Yeonho said that he wanted to show everyone a new and sexy look, and hence the change in his hairstyle. “I exercised. But most of the time was spent on our comeback. I’ve read a lot and watched a lot of movies as well,” Yongseung said.
Minchan will not be participating this time due to health reasons. The group is to act as a six-member group without him. “It’s regretful that we don’t get to work with Minchan. However, he is currently recovering well, and Minchan’s health comes first. He complimented us a lot when our photos or teasers came out. We call often and play around a lot,” Yeonho explained.
For the comeback, Kangmin said that it’s “a crazy party, to say the least.” Yongseung described it as a masterpiece of all time, saying that it’s a concept he has never tried before. Hoyoung also stated that it’s simply “amazing.” He calls it the most mature and sexy concept the team has attempted. “I think it looks good on us. We made a lot of changes to our visuals, and music. It’s the most amazing, as we have started off our new look with a great start.”
As for expectations and goals for this album, Yongseung said that the goal is to put their name on the billboard once again. “I also want to be loved by the chart back home as well. I want us to be known as the “Duality Idol.” Gyehyeon talked about the specific goals saying, “We want to enter the top 40 this time, and if I’m allowed to wish for more, we want to enter the ‘Hot 100s’.”
