Seo Kang Joon in Talks to Star in New Project by ‘Stranger’ Screenwriter Lee Soo Yeon

Will Seo Kang Joon return to the small screen after a year?

Earlier today, a meid outlet reported that Seo Kang Joon has confirmed his appearance in the new drama Zero (literal title). In response, Man of Creation shared, “He was offered a role and is currently reviewing it.”

Though not much information has been unveiled, Zero is expected to be a project that combines SF and “chasing” thriller. It’s penned by Stranger series writer Lee Soo Yeon and helmed by The Divine Move 2: The Wrathful director Khan Lee. Naturally, the industry’s expectations for this movie-scale project is already quite high.

If Seo Kang Joon confirms his appearance, it will be his comeback to the small screen in about a year since JTBC’s When the Weather Is Fine, which ended in April last year.

Though the programming is still under discussion, Zero will most likely be released via a global OTT platform. As soon as the cast lineup is completed, the production will begin in earnest.
