Yoo Teo has participated in the global project The Window.

The Window tells the story of an elite professional soccer team and the global business that surrounds it, focusing on an ensemble cast such as players, agents, club owners, and journalists as it deals with machinations that take place inside and outside the field. A total of 10 episodes will be released with intense thriller elements.

Yoo Teo played the role of Cho Jae Yeon, the son of the team owner. Though he wishes to fully dominate the soccer team, he is hindered by his father’s interference and conflict and tries to prove his value. Yoo’s character is expected to play a key role in thriller, raising further expectations.

“Not to mention the great script, but it was interesting to take part in the Asian and European co-production project. It wasn’t that easy to keep the character’s overall characteristic as Jae Yeon experiences constant changes in genre and emotions. I believe you will have a lot of fun as you see how much soccer has to do with dramatic business,” Yoo shared.

“Each cast shows a wide spectrum of genres and various emotions, so you can see each story within the drama. It contains all the elements of action, pursuit, love, drama and tragedy.”

The Window is directed by three directors who work predominantly in Europe: Adrian Shergold (Mad Dogs), Claudia Garde (Tatort), and Pieter van Hees (Versailles). Plus, Mel Raido (Deep State), Tommy Bastow (Agatha Raisin), stage actor Samuel Jordan, Lynn Van Royen (Tabula Rasa), Jodie Tyack (The Feed), and Carole Weyers (Grey’s Anatomy) will all star in the show.

The Window, which has already finished filming, is currently in the second half of the work phase with Germany’s ZDF Enterprises and Japan’s Fuji TV.
