Nucksal, Jay Park, The Quiett Chosen as MCs of the ‘2021 Korean Hip-hop Awards’

Rappers Nucksal, Jay Park (a.k.a. Park Jae Bum), and The Quiett have been elected as the hosts for the 2021 Korean Hip-hop Awards (KHA). The three artists are to join hands in the awards ceremony which will be revealed towards the end of February.

This is the third time hosting the KHA for Nucksal, after being chosen as its MC in 2019. The rapper continued to remain active in various fields regardless of music and programs, including the release of his full-length album 1Q87 last year, as well as the appearances in DoReMi Market and On & Off. After also being selected as the MC of High School Rapper 4 in the first half of this year, he will now also host the upcoming KHA ceremony.

Jay Park, who has been active as the chief of label records AOMG and H1GHR Music will also be participating as a host. So will The Quiett, the founder of Daytona Entertainment and rapper who contributed to South Korea’s hip-hop scene in various ways. The two were nominated each in four and three different awards for the ceremony.

‘KHA 2021′ is an awards ceremony that selects the best hip-hop and R&B artists and their works from 2020. The final selections for artists have been finished as the voting through the official website has closed by the 29th of January. KHA 2021 is to be presented in a contactless and pre-recorded manner by the end of February. It is also told that Dingo Freestyle will participate as a media partner for the awards ceremony to unveil special online contents.
