A pilot entertainment show showed high ratings during the Lunar New Year holiday and properly drew keen attention from viewers; SBS’s Goal Hit Girls.
On Feb 11 and 12, SBS introduced a new pilot entertainment program called Goal Hit Girls (The Girls Who Hit the Goal) for the Lunar New Year. The show has successfully captivated viewers by ranking within the Top 5 of the overall terrestrial program audience ratings (provided by Nielsen Korea) for two consecutive days.
The second episode garnered 10.2% ratings, blasting into No. 1 in the terrestrial entertainment category along with KBS’s Trot National Sports Festival.

A total of four teams appeared in Goal Hit Girls: FC Gae-Vengers (comedians), FC Giant (models), FC Kookdae Family (members of the national team and their families), and FC Firemoth (Flaming Youth members). Each team had entertainment/sports stars and their family members, and they jumped into the games with all their hearts.
On top of that, legendary former national team members – Hwang Sun Hong, Kim Byung Ji, Lee Chun Soo, and Choi Jin Cheul – joined each team as a coach, doubling the fun of the show.
Expectations are high on whether Goal Hit Girls, which has captivated viewers with a new concept that has not been seen so far, will return to the regular programming.
