CL’s mother has passed away.
On Feb 10, CL’s label Team Very Cherry stated that CL’s mother, Hong Yoo Ra, died of a heart attack on Jan 23 at the age of 53. The funeral service will be held from Feb 10 for three days.
Their official statement is as follows:
“Hello, this is Team Very Cherry.
CL’s mother, Hong Yoo Ra, passed away from a heart attack on Jan 23 at the age of 53 during her stay abroad.
The funeral will be held from Feb 10 for three days, and the burial will take place on Feb 12. Due to the COVID-19 situation, the funeral will be held quietly, with only family and close friends in attendance.
Please give comfort and encouragement to CL.
May she rest in peace.
