Choi Woo Shik is much loved for his role in the film Parasite.
The latest episode of tvN’s Youn’s Stay depicted Youn’s Stay’s members working busy for the third day of business. And like always, Choi Woo Shik headed to the bus station to pick up the new guests.
On their way to the Hanok, guests asked Choi various questions after learning that he is an actor. One of the questions was what movies he starred in, to which Choi answered, “Have you seen Parasite? I played the first son there.”
Saying that they saw the film, all 6 guests exclaimed at the fact that they met an actor from an Academy award-winning film. Feeling a bit embarrassed at their enthusiastic reactions, Choi shyly added, “Yeah, that’s me.”
Soon, the guest sitting at the passenger seat asked Choi, “When did you decide to become an actor?” and he answered, “When I came to Korea. I actually wanted to be a stage director, but I thought I should try acting first before becoming a director. So I tried out the global audition, and thankfully, that worked out.”
