Kim Jong Kook and Jeon So Min will boast their perfect teamwork at the 2020 APAN Music Awards.
The 2020 APAN Music Awards, co-hosted and co-organized by the Korea Entertainment Management Association (CEMA) and WADE, announced on Jan 16 that Kim Jong Kook and Jeon So Min will act as emcees for this year’s ceremony. The response is already hot as Kim Jong Kook and Jeon So Min have shown off their fantastic chemistry through SBS’s entertainment show Running Man for years.
The APAN Music Awards is a music awards ceremony established by the “APAN Star Awards”. It holds more meaning in the sense that the 10 singers are selected by management (CEMA). The slogan of the award ceremony is “Thank You So Much” to express gratitude to global fans of the Hallyu wave and to all those who are exhausted from the pandemic.
The ceremony was originally scheduled to air in November but was postponed amid surging Korea COVID-19 cases. “We are fully prepared to provide the best stage with differentiation and freshness compared to the previous awards ceremony,” an official said.
Meanwhile, the 2020 APAN Music Awards will be broadcast in Korea via Seezn and Olleh TV on Jan 24 at 8 pm KST. It will also be broadcast live worldwide through the global K-POP platform amazer app (excluding China).
