Sisyphus: The Myth unveiled the first still photos of Park Shin Hye, who transformed into a brave warrior.

On Jan 14, JTBC’s Wednesday-Thursday drama Sisyphus: The Myth made headlines by unveiling the first still photos of Park Shin Hye, the savior who went back in time and chose a dangerous path for Cho Seung Woo.

Sisyphus: The Myth is a fantasy mystery drama that tells a time travel story about a genius engineer who tries to discover the hidden secrets about the creatures that live within our world and his savior from the future. For the drama, Park Shin Hye takes on the role of tough warrior Kang Seo Hae and will show off intense action that she has never shown before.

The released photos show Seo Hae aiming at something with a rifle as she exudes charisma with a stable posture and eagle eyes that won’t miss the target. Yet, the pink color spotted here and there is the charming point that makes her character’s complex nature stand out. Her taste in pink, which does not really go along with her life as a warrior, also symbolizes Seo Hae’s wish to find the meaning of life.

The production crew said, “Park Shin Hye did a wonderful job of showing the most intense and wildest action scenes ever in her filmography. Staff all exclaimed, ‘Wow, that’s why she’s Park Shin Hye.’ Please endearingly watch Park Shin Hye’s new challenge as she plays her all-time character as brave warrior Kang Seo Hae.”

Meanwhile, Sisyphus: The Myth will premiere in February as the follow-up of Run On.
