Earlier today, Burning Sun Scandal’s first informant Kim Sang Kyo pointed his finger at Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon to “fess up” about what she saw in the club on the night of the incident.
He wrote on his Instagram, “Who was the actress who was drooling under the influence of drugs that day that Ha XX and Ahn XX officers from Yeoksam District couldn’t even enter the club? You must have seen Hyoyeon.”
Soon, the names Kim Sang Kyo and Hyoueon started to trend on portal sites. In response, SM Entertainment stated, “Hyoyeon was only invited to perform at the time, and she has nothing to do with the posting. Please refrain from speculations and misunderstandings.”

Kim Sang Kyo, who has opened up the “Burning Sun Gate,” posted an additional disclosure and singled out Hyoyeon to “fess up” about what she saw in the club on the night of the incident.
On Jan 13, Kim posted a lengthy post on his Instagram along with a photo of Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon DJing at the Burning Sun Club.
Beginning his post with the hashtag #LetMeAskYouOneThing, he wrote, “Who was the actress who was drooling under the influence of drugs that day that Ha XX and Ahn XX officers from Yeoksam District couldn’t even enter the club? You must have seen Hyoyeon. And the man who was high on drugs when he beat me inside the club, you must know if he’s that druggie who was Seungri’s friend.”
He then heralded more revelation, writing, “Fess up. You ain’t got a long time. It’s up to you all whether or not the identities of the numerous celebrities affiliated with ‘Burning Sun’ will be revealed against your will, or if you’re gonna cooperate. You don’t have much time left. I have the list of all your names on my notebook.”
Meanwhile, Kim Sang Kyo is the victim of the assault at the Burning Sun Club. When the police were dispatched to the scene, they arrested Kim as the assailant, and afterward, Kim exposed the back-scratching relationship between the police and Burning Sun, opening up the “Burning Sun Gate” that shook the nation.
