Park Ji Hoon has been cast to take the lead role in the webtoon-adapted drama The distance melts the green spring (literal title).
According to Sports Seoul, Park Ji Hoon will play the male lead Yeo Joon in the drama version of the popular webtoon The distance melts the green spring.
The distance melts the green spring, which was published in Daum Webtoon since 2014, tells the story of people in their 20s who have to live the green spring of life, as the title originates from the phrase “Life is a tragedy when seen in close-up, but a comedy in long-shot.” By realistically depicting the struggles we face even when it’s supposed to be the beautiful days of youth, the webtoon has earned the nickname “college version of Misaeng: Incomplete Life.”
Park Ji Hoon will be taking on the role of Yeo Joon, a handsome and cute business major student who grew up in a good family without any shortages.
After rising to stardom with Wanna One, Park Ji Hoon gradually expanded his spectrum as a singer by releasing his first full-album MESSAGE last year and holding an online concert. At the same time, he debuted as an actor through Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency, and this year, he successfully led Love Revolution.
