Song Hye Kyo will reunite with writer Kim Eun Sook.
According to Studio Dragon, Song Hye Kyo has been cast to star in writer Kim Eun Sook’s new drama. Kim Eun Sook is one of the biggest writers in Korea who produced multiple global-hit dramas like Secret Garden, A Gentleman’s Dignity, The Heirs, Descendants of the Sun, Goblin �and The King: Eternal Monarch.
The title or the specific schedule for the drama are yet to be determined. But they will begin filming in the second half of this year and premiere as early as the end of this year or as late as the first half of next year.
Song Hye Kyo and Kim Eun Sook will be partnering up for the first time in 5 years after the 2016 hit drama Descendants of the Sun. As the pair heated up the entire Asia with their last project, anticipations are already skyrocketing over their upcoming drama.
Stranger, Memories of the Alhambra and Record of Youth director Ahn Gil Ho has been appointed as the director.
