BTOB’s Eunkwang and Changsub took their Instagram accounts to reassure fans after Ilhoon’s departure from the group.
Recently, Eunkwang left a heartfelt message to his fans. He wrote, “Melody! It must have been tough, right? I’ve got so many things to say but still have no idea how to say them… But I’m truly sorry and thank you for always believing in me and staying by my side. And I love you. As a leader, I will be more determined and sincere so that Melody’s future will always be filled with laughter. I love you with all my heart.”
Changsub also posted a short message along with a screenshot of their song “It’s Okay.” The message he wrote reads, “Happy new year. I’m hoping you’ll become happier this year. Love you before, now, and always.” Though the post itself seems plain, the photo that shows him listening to “It’s Okay” with the next song on the list being “Only One For Me” is interpreted as his real message to Melodies regarding the news of Ilhoon’s shocking news.
One fan wrote, “Changsub posted the album ‘COMPLETE’ and did not crop that first full album name. 2:48 has the line ‘The only thing I can do Is to sing the lyrics of this song. Even if things are hard It’s ok, it’s ok, it’s ok. Everything will be ok I believe in you’ along with Ilhoon’s scene crying and running. And the next song is ‘Only One For Me.’ To sum it up, the song is meant for Ilhoon that he will always be a part of BTOB no matter what.”
Meanwhile, Ilhoon has been habitually smoking marijuana for four to five years until last year. The fact that purchased marijuana using virtual money, not cash, to avoid the investigation was belatedly reported, shocking the public.
