Red Velvet’s Wendy, who halted her activities due to her injury, gave an update with her unique bright and jolly aura.
Harper’s Bazaar Korea released its January issue pictorial with Red Velvet’s Wendy today. She is giving off positive energy with her lively and fresh smile in the released pictorial. This pictorial was completed with the hope that everyone will be happy again in the coming year. Wendy’s natural smile blends well with the concept.
“Wendy appeared with a bright face and a perky voice,” an official from the magazine said. “It was freezing cold on the day of the photoshoot, but Wendy was full of bright energy. Though beauty pictorial takes a long time due to the nature of the work, Wendy encouraged people throughout the day without any signs of exhaustion, impressing the staff.”
The pictorial is drawing more attention in that it marks Wendy’s official comeback. Wendy earlier suffered severe injuries to her face and pelvis when she was involved in a stage accident and fell about 2.5 meters (8.2 ft) during her solo stage rehearsal at the 2019 SBS Gayo Daejeon. She has since devoted herself to treatment and recovery for about a year.
Meanwhile, Red Velvet will appear on the free online concert “SM Town Live Culture Humanity” on January 1.
