When NCT’s makeup staff came in contact with Golden Child’s Jaehyun, who was recently confirmed with COVID-19, the group immediately halted their schedule and got tested for the virus. And today, SM confirmed that all members of NCT received negative results.
On Dec 18, SM Entertainment stated, “All NCT members tested negative for the new coronavirus. They will attend the ‘2020 KBS Song Festival’ as originally planned.”
Earlier, NCT underwent preemptive COVID-19 testing after discovering that a makeup artist they worked with crossed paths with a COVID-19 confirmed patient. As a result, the group failed to participate in the pre-recording of the “2020 KBS Song Festival” yesterday, but with the recent result, NCT will perform at the event as scheduled.
Meanwhile, “2020 KBS Song Festival” will air on Dec 18 at 8:30 p.m. KST.
