Netflix will service JTBC’s new Wednesday and Thursday drama Run On starring Im Si Wan, Shin Se Kyung, Choi Soo Young, and Kang Tae Oh from December 16th.
The show will be aired in Korea, Asia, Arab and English speaking regions at 10.30 p.m. KST, after the end of each regularly broadcasted episode. For other regions, full episodes of the series will be released per regional schedules after the show ends.
Run On is a romantic drama about people who each sprint at different speeds and ways towards each others’ finish line in an era where communication has become difficult. The mini-series is a collaboration between Good Manager and The Ghost Detective’s director Lee Jae Hoon and Park Si Hyun, a newly rising screenwriter.
With heart-warming casts such as Im Si Wan, Shin Se Kyung, Choi Soo Young, and Kang Tae Oh, the series is attracting a lot of attention. As an actor who constantly demonstrated his acting skills by challenging various genres, Im Si Wan will be playing the role of Gi Sun Gyeom, a professional sprinter destined to run forward. He is expecting to portray deep emotions that are differentiated from his previous piece. Shin Se Kyung, who captivates viewers with her outstanding acting skills and unique aura, plays Oh Mi Joo, a film translator who is inherently attracted to looking back. With the frankness and simplicity in her acting, she is expected to present a certain loveliness of her role.
An actress who is expanding her range with stable acting skills, Choi Soo Young, plays Seo Dan Ah, the heir to the SeoMyung group as she shows off her charm as a smart and capable young leader. Kang Tae Oh, who appeared in The Tale of Nokdu will be taking on the role of Lee Young Hwa, an art student who thinks it is impossible to control his heart. The actor will be portraying the face of a youth who is shaken by love.
Starting from December 16th, Run On will provide a warm emotional romance this winter to viewers around the world through Netflix.
