
The dance cover competition for YG’s “monster” rookie group Treasure came to a successful end amid enthusiastic support from global fans. And the three Vietnamese dance teams swept all three places.
YG Entertainment held Treasure’s “MMM” Dance Cover Competition for 26 days from Nov 12 to Dec 7. A large number of fans of various ages from around the world, including the United States, Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, France and Brazil, participated in the event.
After much consideration, YG Announced the three winners on Dec 11 at 6 p.m. KST.

The first place went to Vietnam’s “M.S. CREW” dance team. The dancers perfectly covered every aspect of Treasure, from their fantastic dance movements to orange styling, taking the trophy.

Second place is Vietnam’s “W-UNIT” dance team. They showed off their high-quality skills by capturing even the smallest points in the choreography, drawing keen attention.

Vietnam’s “BlackSi” dance team took third place. The team garnered the highest number of views among the participants, showing off their perfect group dance as well as a visual concept that clearly resembles Treasure.
Meanwhile, Treasure debuted on Aug 7 and has solidified its position as a global rising star by taking home the Rookie of the Year award at 2020 AAA and the Best New Male Artist award and Worldwide Fans’ Choice Top 10 at the 2020 MAMA.
