It seems like the K-pop industry is put on alert once again after Chungha was tested positive for COVID-19.
Momoland got tested for COVID-19 after using the same hair shop as Chungha. Their agency MLD Entertainment said, “Momoland and Chuanhga used the same hair shop, so all members conducted COVID-19 test as a preemptive measure.”
IZ*ONE also had an examination for COVID-19 and canceled their comeback live scheduled for today. Swing Entertainment confirmed, “We will conduct the COVID-19 today for all staff and IZ*ONE members considering their safety and health.”
“We are informing you that the group’s appearance on NAVER NOW’s ‘PANORAMA IZ*ONE’ will be canceled,” they added.
WJSN’s Yeonjung and Gugudan’s Mina overlapped movements with Chungha and got tested for COVID-19. Both their agencies confirmed the news, saying, “The artist received COVID-19 test as a preemptive measure after she overlapped movements with a confirmed patient (Chungha).” Yeonjung and Mina both started self-quarantine in accordance with the health authorities’ guidelines.
