ENHYPEN’s Debut Album Lands at No. 1 in Japan

ENHYPEN has topped Japan’s Oricon Daily Album Chart with its debut album BORDER: DAY ONE.

According to Oricon Chart, ENHYPEN’s debut album released last month landed at No. 1on the Daily Album Chart on Dec 4. With this album, the group went straight to No. 1 on the Oricon Chart, Japan’s largest music chart, proving their hot popularity in Japan.

The global sensation of ENHYPEN has already been foreseen. Two days into the pre-order, 150,000 copies of BORDER: DAY ONE were sold, and the number reached 300,000 in three weeks. The album sold a total of 229,991 copies on the first day of its release, topping Hanteo Char’s daily album category on Dec 1.

ENHYPEN also showed excellent results in iTunes charts. BORDER: DAY ONE topped iTunes Top Album Charts in Japan and ranked in the Top 5 in 34 countries. The title track “Given-Taken” landed in the Top 5 on the Top Song charts in 17 countries, and the music video surpassed 1 million views in just three hours and 20 minutes.
