The teaser video for the new fusion historical drama No Touch Princess, which drew keen attention with Shin Hye Sun’s comical acting, surpassed 40,000 views in just a day after its release.
tvN’s new weekend drama No Touch Princess released its first teaser video on YouTube on November 4. This 15-second video shows Shin Hye Sun looking into the error and getting shocked, raising curiosity.
No Touch Princess starts when the soul of Jang Bong Hwan, a man who lives in present-day Korea, finds its way into the body of Queen Kim So Yong in the Joseon period after getting involved in an accident. The Bridal Mask director Yoon Sung Shik and Doctor Prisoner writer Choi Ah Il joined hands for the project.
Shin Hye Sun’s deft acting and narration in a man’s voice (possibly Choi Jin Hyuk) double the play’s charm. Although the video is short, Shin Hye Sun’s comical acting as she checks what’s underneath her clothes leaves a strong impression.
This short clip surpassed 45,000 views on youtube as of November 5 at 1 p.m. KST. Fans responded with anticipation by saying, “Well, if Shin Hye Sun’s in it, there’s no way I’m missing this,” “I can’t stop replaying Shin Hye Sun’s short pitch scream,” “Can’t wait for this,” or “One more K-drama to watch.”
No Touch Princess will premiere in December.
