T-ara’s Soyeon Explains Why She Decided to Exit ‘Miss Back’

While the Miss Back‘s cast members started their race for “the song,” former T-ara member Soyeon exited the show.

The recent episode of Miss Back, which aired on October 29, featured a showdown between the members to become the main character of the song “Transparent Girl.” A total of eight members gathered to practice choreography after the song was revealed. They started to learn the dance moves under choreographer Bae Yoon Jung, and her harsh words and criticism showed that what they are striving for cannot come easy.

But yet, each of them successfully showed off their charms and talent, putting both tears and smiles on viewers’ faces.

At the end of the show, Soyeon announced that she will be exiting the show. She said, “After a long discussion with the production team and the company, I decided to say goodbye. It was fun and nice to see the girls I haven’t seen for a long time.”

She then explained her choice, saying, “Of course, I also went through difficult times and was hurt during my activities. However, I found out that these younger girls went through pain and sorrow that I couldn’t imagine. That’s why I don’t want to compete with them and take away the song that can change their lives. I hope you can support and cheer on the seven girls.”

Miss Back, which premiered on October 8, follows a group of female singers who made their debut as idols but have been slowly forgotten in the public’s minds. Through the show, they will share their stories, prepare stunning performances, and hope for another chance at success as singers.
