NCT proved their global power once again.
On Oct. 12, NCT released their second full-length album NCT – The 2nd Album RESONANCE Pt.1. This album topped iTunes Top Album Charts in 32 countries around the world, including the United States, Canada, Brazil, Russia, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, and Hong Kong.
The group’s popularity in Asia is undoubtedly overwhelming. The album landed at No. 1 on Line Music’ Album Top 100 chart and Rakuten Music Real-TIme Song Chart (Japan). It also topped QQ Music Digital Albums Sales Chart (China) and set a milestone of becoming the platinum album in just one hour and 42 minutes after the release. Platinum album is only given to the album that earned 1 million CNY (about 148,121 USD) in sales.
RESONANCE Pt.1 is receiving keen attention in Korea. It swept the top spots in Hanteo Chart, Shinnara Record and Kyobo Bookstore. This album highlights the members’ musical growth. Not only does the title song catch the ears, NCT U, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, and WayV teamed up to show various combinations and characteristics in non-title tracks, drawing keen attention.
Meanwhile, NCT will perform on M Countdown on Oct.15, Music Bank on Oct. 16, Show! Music Core on Oct. 17, and Inkigayo on Oct. 18.
